of the earth necklace
I had many imaginings of this necklace and the final design took some time, but she was worth it! A real statement piece, of the earth captures the relationship between perfect and imperfect, designed by both nature and humans.
Each brick is hand carved and then individually sandcast before being filed to a smooth finish. The chain is created from recycled silver tube with 1mm silver wire held together with a handmade jump ring at each end; each piece soldered carefully so it still allows for movement. The clasp is a t-bar style, incorporating the brick design.
Standard length is 17 inches but this is easily altered on request, just drop me an email to discuss.
All my jewellery is lovingly handmade by me in my studio in Leeds. I don’t always have stock to hand so advise 3 to 4 weeks for orders to arrive - this allows time for plating and/ or hallmarking if required. However, if you need an order in a real hurry, please get in touch and I will let you know if I can do anything sooner.
How your order will arrive
I try to use vintage jewellery boxes and vintage fabrics for packaging as much as possible. Not only is this better for the environment but they also look beautiful. If you would prefer modern packaging, a recycled white pillow box is available - see photos as a guide. Please select your preferred option below.
